My front tooth got knocked out when I was about 14 and now it is all discolored from the inside... How do I get this white does it have be pulled or what has to be done... The dentist says the tooth is fine but it is brownish looking and looks horrible if I smile with pics....I have had my teeth whiten at the dentis office...Any suggestions are greatly appreciated...

NO no endo on this tooth... what does a crown or veneer consist of???

The only way to have the discoloration go away is to have a crown or veneer placed over the tooth. When the tooth dies it discolors because their is no blood supply to the tooth to keep it white and healthy looking. Did you have endo on this tooth?

I have always gone to Dentists who wanted me to have a great smile etc. as well as healthy teeth. It may be true that your tooth is fine but if you are embarrassed about your tooth not being as white as the others, I would either ask your Dentist for advice which is probably crowning it or some other procedure. If he isn't interested in doing that, I would go to another dentist. I have a great one in Tampa Florida named Dr. Morrison who I would highly recommend but I'm not sure where you live.

Ask your dentist about putting a veneer over the front of it.
