i think we're all equal. not all of us think we are superior, don't generalize. this is a religion that teaches humility, everyone is taught humility and it is hardly followed. not only christians think they are superior.

I'm sorry if some of them did come off that way. Im a christian and I won't deny that I know a lot of people that are better than me.I openly admit that there are a lot of people superior to me. But if you truly are a christian, you just don't give up. No one is superior to anyone else in God's eyes, so if a person really loves God, they should realize this. I have. Im sorry if you have experienced otherwise...There's mean people everywhere. And that isn't based on a person's religion.

Every religion believes they are superior to everyone else. That is the bases of religion. It gives people a change to look down and judge other people. That is a universal thing about religions, they all think they are right, and all think that the other ones are crazy. Don't just blames Christians.

we dont, there are some, like back in Jesus' days who would walk about thinking they were so much better than everyone else (the pharisees.) There are still some people like this today, who have lost track of the cause. But if you talk to a true born again believer, who knows what they are fighting for, they will not be stuck up, or boastful, they will be humble, because the first will be last, and the last will be first.
So i guess what i'm trying to say is that there are those who are so consumed in themselves, and how perfect and sinless they are compared to everyone else, that they lose track of the father. But please dont judge us, and think that we are all that way. I am not denying there are people who are that way, but true believers wont be!

Real christians do not believe that they are superior. Quite the opposite, we are acutely aware of our failings and mistakes. The difference is that we have the love and forgiveness of God. We have the Savior as our moral compass. It is sin that blinds the eye of the unbeliever and makes him see superiority where there is in fact love and humility.

I thought it was Atheists. They say so all the time. They ask if all Christians have IQ below 90. They say they know the real truth.
Better make up your mind who has the bigger Ego, Atheists or Theists.
Seems to me from the posts it's the Atheists.

I honestly don't, and actually God says to think of others more highly than ourselves. To be a servant to all who need us, that is what is supposed to happen, but some of us aren't as humble as we ought, and I can be that way sometimes. But don't let anyone or any past experience with a church, stop you from seeking God who is the answer to every question you have, and His son, who is the only way to Heaven.

Uh... we don't.
Non Christians are afforded the same free will to choose to receive God's forgiveness as we are.
If you don't want to choose God's gift, that's your business. We've done what we're suppose to...planted the seed.
