She may like you and she may just be keeping you as a "parachute" so to speak if things do not work out with her current boyfriend. People give give mixed messages all the time because of that. Some people just love attention even if they have a boyfriend or girlfriend. I would let her know you like her and see what transpires but do not get so hung up on thinking you might get her someday because that would become somewhat unhealthy for you. Don't invest too much time because you may miss out on someone great who is completely available.

Well we all need to trust our feelings, sometimes. but they're not always right. It could be the way we feel and the other person could feel exactly the opposite, we're just thinkin too deep and too much about this. Are you sure she likes you? Cuz if you are, hmm...maybe she's playing hard to get. But if your not, none the less she could be trying to let you down easy.

You need to leave her alone/ give her some space. If she says she has someone, it means either of two things: she's not interested in you romantically or she still has feelings for the other guy. Either way, you don't want her to be with you out of pity so its best u leave her alone.

Become close to her, do everything to hang out with her and be her friend, then she can see the real you and decide about you, you may even end up in a relationship! Is this the same girl from the other question? :)

Honestly, if she said there was someone in her life... She has feelings for that person, and she doesn't want to get confused about who she really likes.
She probably thinks she is pretty happy right now.
