The male will still continue to go crazy until that part of her heat is over. Remember there is a several day window of where the female can get pregnant. My dogs mate every other day and my male acts nuts through the hole thing. So even if he got her on the first day, he still is more than willing to get her 4 days later. There is a scent the female gives off on the days that they ovulate and it drives the male dog nuts. Once she is past that point he should settle down. As for if she got pregnant or not it depends on how soon you stopped them. Only time will tell, but I would call the vet and they can help to abort the litter. It is more than likely that if they got stuck then ya, she's pregnant. Good luck.

Get them both fixed. Spaying just the female does little to help control the pet population if your male dog still goes outside. Chances are sooner or later, another dog in the neighborhood will go in heat and he'll be trying to get to her. Get them both fixed!!

if they got stuck no it doesnt mean she is pregnant, but there is always the chance. and the dog will go crazy till the female is no longer in heat (heat lasts 3wks give or take whether she is bred or not) it is really not good for a females body to be bred back to back its probally best to have her spayed as soon as the heat cycle is over.

Yes, as long as she is in heat, he will be interested. In fact, a female can be impregnated by numerous males, having a litter of pups with different fathers. Keep them separated as much as you can to prevent another litter. And, how about getting him neutered?

If they tied then she will be. I was wondering why you waited so long to get her spayed. She could have gone in after the puppies were gone. She shouldn't have puppies back to back. This will take a lot out of her. Talk to you vet they can advice you on what you can do.

YEAH NO **** and that's why you keep the male dog away unless you don't want puppies because she could start to bleed and lose the dogs /puppies and the male will attack you if that happensl.
