I like this guy who is nearly 6 years older than me (17) he is a good friend of my brothers and he has been talking and staring at me alot more lately. But he doesnt hug or touch me really so the signals arnt too strong i like him bu what should i do to find out if he likes me ? or should i just ask him? help xx

He might be shy. If he is, do the following:
1. Give him a hug when you encounter each other.
2. Touch his arm as you laugh at his jokes -- or your own jokes.
3. Look at him straight in the eyes without saying anything.
4. Find out his interests and talk about them.
5. Invite him over to the house to watch a favorite TV show or to have dinner.

Maybe you should try dropping some little hints on him to let him know that youre into him, flirt a little (but not to the extreme),smile at him, when he gets your point he will ask you out.

If he's six years older, that means he's probably just out of college, etc. and has a much different life than yours. Also, it might be illegal for him to be more than 'just friends" in your state, so don't expect much more than that.

I think you should not ask him anything. He is to old for you and you should leave it alone and just be his friend. He is probably interested in girls his age.
