We had the happiest 1 month and half together. Then I had to leave Kuala Lumpur because of work (it got me there in the first place). I still really really like him, and I know he still has something for me. I really miss him. We chat reguarly which kills me even more. We can't have a relationship because he's there, I'm here. If it weren't for the distance, I know we would've made a great couple.

To keep a long distance relationship would only destroy what we have because we are both young (20-somethings) and focused on things like business and career. We can't. We're better off not being together despite knowing what we feel for each other because, admit it, reailty bites. Long distance would only work if we had the same plans but at this stage, that's not going to happen.

But where ever I go , when ever I turn on the radio, or TV,something ALWAYS reminds me of him.

How do I get over this? How do I get over him? Cut contact? I can't do that to a friend that I love...

You state that you are focused on your career yet all I can see is that you are focused on him. Why can't a long distance relationship work? I've seen many people do it and they ended up married and are still together. Love knows no boundaries. Why should you forget about someone you care so deeply about. If you can focus all your energy on thinking of him, why can't you make this work? You are going to break up with a great guy and friend and end all ties? I'm not sure why you would want to do that. So your job took you somewhere else. It may take you back too! Love always finds a way. As far as trying to get over him, if that's what YOU really want, only time will change that...good luck!

Sounds like to already made your decision and now you just have to stick to it. Tell him what you just mentioned to us and request that for that reason you do not want to talk or chat anymore. It is easier to move on if you do not see or talk to him anymore. Stay busy and life will give you another opportunity to fall in love. As time goes by you will feel better progressively.

do no longer permit distance be an issue. There are people on right here that are actually living mutually and a few even have been given married. before that, they have been an prolonged procedures aside and nevertheless made it paintings.

Stop thinking about them. Don't cut contact completely but cut it for jsut alittle while or just slimyl. Instead of, for example, talking 3 times a week. Talk once a week. X.

if its how you say it is u shouldn't be saying how do i get over this you should be saying how do we make this work but make sure he feels the same before you do anything drastic.
