this was an arguement we had last night:
Brad: Oh yeah i read your chemistry book.
Me: oh yeah, that's cool.
Brad: It looks so easy.
Me: No, what are you talking about? it's hard.
Brad: No, it's not you just have to get into it.
Me: WEll, if you know it so much why don't you teach me?(i was mad because he doesn't know any of it)
Brad: all you have to do is find the slope of the two...
Me: wait a minute, brad, chemistry has nothing to do with slopes,we deal with the peroidic table
Brad: yes it does.
(in my head) what the ****!! he really makes me mad, and what's worse is i have higher classes than him he is still in algebra and he makes up stuff like that!! what should i do??? he was titally lying about slopes because i was talking about balancing reactions that happen with atoms)
should i ask him hard chemistry questions?
he barely goes to class and he thinks he can do better than me but he claims that he is only lazy. he's trying to always say that he is smarter!! help.

Just ignore him. He's just too childish and not worth your time. Anyway, the school grades will show who is smarter. hahha...

Choose your battles wisely. That means only argue about things that are really worth arguing over, not chemistry. If this is not an area that you see eye to eye, then don't involve him in your homework. But for heaven's sake, for your sake, don't get caught up in the small, trivial issues. They will make you crazy. And if you give up on him for that, there is no hope for any guy in your future.

The fact that he does that is tacky. It doesn't say much about his character. Why would he even bring it up? What good could possibly come out it? If the guy cared about your feelings he would make you feel smart, not stupid. You worry about you and dump the loser. He is (and will) only hold you back. You need to date more in your class.

This doeesn't have anything to do with chemistry. It has to do with his need to control. Sounds like he feels inferior and needs to make up stuff to prove he is as good as you are. If you can't trust what he says, why waste your time?

Dude. Its really pathetic you guys are quarreling over chemistry -.- No offense though.
You shouldn't give up on him if he's really nice to you. He probably doesn't want you to think he's incapable because he's not as smart as you. Take it easy eh.

Wtf. You're fighting over chemistry? Tell him to stick to his own prfoession and if you don't want to fight out it more then don't ask him anymore. X.
