Aren't you a sweetie, just for asking the question. Call her and say that you would like to visit her if she is up to it? Ask her if there is anything that you can bring her. Cheer her up by making light conversation and being there for her. Most gals loved to be pampered when they are sick. Flowers are a special touch . They make a gal feel special.

I recently went through a long and painful illness. The things that my friends did that meant the absolute most at that time were to stay in touch. Just a quick chat nothing so long as to be exhausting. Phone calls, flowers, cards newsy notes about what was going on in our circle of friends. Making me feel like I was still "in" the crowd. Even some folks that I did not know all that well managed to send cards or pick up the phone from time to time it was touching and very cheering.

You make her laugh until she can't stop, tell her wonderful things about what you think of her and send her roses and get-well cards. You should make up soe poetry to cheer her up, that is, if she's a poetry person like me. Good luck and I wish her all the best.
