First of all I am offended that anyone would accuse me of breeding my pup for money or for selfish reasons, without first knowing me and my dog. I have the promise of six friends to take pups, and would personally care for any without wonderful homes.
Just becauses my dogs breed is not YET recognized (but is agknowledged) by the AKC does not make her worthless
My thought of allowing her a litter comes from my feeling that all females should have the chance to become mothers at least once,if possible. It is possible because I can supply homes.

I would say not to breed her. The friends that say they want a pup now, may not when the time comes and then you have to find other homes. Or she could have problems and then you lose her and the pups and have a huge vet bill. I have never allowed any of my female dogs to have a litter before spaying and it never hurt any of them. The only thing my vet has ever told me is to let them come into heat once and them spay them. Good Luck!

Pugs (one of the breeds going into the puggle) are famous for VERY bad difficulty in giving birth. The rate of mothers DYING is high and the c-section rate is even higher. If you feel motherhood is really worth risking your girls life at least take the week she's due off work so you can be there to rush her to the vet if she's in trouble and check how much a c-section at the local ER clinic costs so you can have the money saved up. Also get a dog breeding book (or 3)outta the libarary so you have a chance of knowing if she's in trouble. Better yet, if you can, find an experienced mentor....

The first question you have to answer is why do you want her to have puppies? There are no medical reasons for allowing this. Dogs should not breed until at least their 3rd heat cycle to make sure they are mature enough. This means dealing with heat cycles until she is about 2 years old. If you are doing it for the money, well-thats just wrong. Puggles are not a true breed, they are a designer breed and pandering to that trend is wrong. If you are not an experience breeder, you will not know how to help her if something goes wrong. Backyard breeding should not occur. Leave it to those who can do it safely and have the dogs best interests at heart.
She will be happier and healthier if you just go ahead and spay her when she is about 6 months old.

Please don't unless you're willing to keep the pups or have committments from others to take the pups. If you allow your dog to have puppies and you end up taking them to the animal shelter they could be adopted out by people who find themselves unwilling or unable to take the time to properly train a puppy or spend enough time with the puppy. Then the puppy would end up back in the animal shelter or even just taken and dropped off somewhere to fend for itself. Chances are the puppy would suffer and die. The ones that are at the animal shelter that don't get adopted will be killed. This happens WAY too often so this is why you should not let your dog have puppies.

Everyone below has nothing better to do than sit on here and give negitive feedback to others when they have no backround on you or your dog. I would let her be a mother at least once. Im sure you can find good people to take care of her puppys. Puggles are super cute, who care if they are not regonized by this or that...NOT EVERYONE IS LOOKING FOR A AKC REGISTERED DOG.....Not everyoner can afford these champion dogs, they are cute, loveable and would make a great addition to any family that wants to bring some happiness into there life. Do what you want! I would go to a puggles forum and ask beforecoming on here..I learned my lesson yesterday when I posted a ?...these psycho dog loves are just mean. They must be from peta or something....GOOD LUCK

You should want your dog to have a long healthy life.
Spay her she will not get mamary cancer and she will not get a pyometra (uterine infection) that can be life threatening if not caught in time.
It is so much better for her health to be spayed.
She will also be a better pet and you will not have the mess of having her in heat and dogs hanging around.
Also have you ever raised a litter of puppys?
It is hard work and a mess.
Also your dog although you love her is a mixed breed and not of breeding quality and is only going to produce more mixed pups of which there are many in shelters.

Why would you want her to have puppies? Unless you are committed to a breeding program that will provide healthy (physically and mentally) pups, there is no reason to breed her. Since you want her to have just one litter, I'm assuming that is not your goal. There are millions of dogs euthanized every year because there are no homes for them. A good portion of that number includes purebreeds and "designer" breeds. I work at a shelter and we get lots of Puggles.
There are numerous benefits to spaying, including greatly reduced or zero risk of uterine and mammary cancers, zero risk of pyometra, no mess of dripping blood, no male dogs hounding (pardon the pun) your dog, and a generally more content dog.

It would be wise for you to have your pet spayed. You do not want to breed a designer dog with another designer dog. There is no telling what you will get and there could be major health problems down the road.
We have a few of our pets fixed. (pure breds)There is no difference in how they act if they have had puppies or not.
If your thinking that it will make her a better dog if she has a litter, it's not going to make any differance.
Good Luck.

Puggles will NEVER be recognized by the AKC because they do not recognize MUTTS!
Fer crissake, cockapoo "breeders" have been using that line for 50 years. Their dogs are still mutts too.

They have been showing up in rescue before we knew what they were. Why breed more for others to die? Don't think about yourself think about the animals.
