My female is a very picky eater. I have tried several brands of what you would consider a top quality food. She will only eat it for a couple of days and then stops eating completely. She is very stubborn and would actually starve to death over it. The only type of food she will eat is kibbles n chucks which I know is not good for her. She tends to get many ear infection which I know is caused by her food. Are there any brands of food that has close to maybe the same taste but are actually good for her.

I didn't mean to say ear infection, I meant yeast in her ears.

First off pick a high quality food you want her to eat and feed that and that only. Stop switching foods and do not give anything other than the food. Since she knows that if she waits long enough something better will be handed out she will wait you have trained her do just that. Wait for what she likes and it will come. Now you have to un trainer her for that.
Feed her the food you want her to eat one that is high quality if she is a small dog they do not eat much so you want the amount htey do eat to be vvery high quality.
Something like Merrick, Innova, Solid Gold, Welllness, something along those lines.
Sometimes ear infections can be signs of allergies to something in the food. Look for a dog food with one protein source and no corn or wheat or soy those are big allgery problem things for many dogs.
Good luck and stay tough she will not starve herself to death. My vet told me that and it is true. I had a very picky doberman years ago. He would eat but was always thin and would only eat a little at a time. He was free fed and had food out all the time so he could nibble as often as he wanted.

Try Eucanuba Small Bite and maybe soak with a little warm water.Oh she will eat sooner or later you just may not see her. Some dogs are very shy and picky but this food smells like ham and is very tasty.I have never heard of a Dog Food that causes "EAR INFECTION?"You will have to go to a Pets Mart or a Specialty Store but it is a great food !!Maybe there is a chronic ear problem with your Dog and you need to see another vet if your Vet told you that Dog Food caused "Ear Infection"!!!!!!Good Luck!!!!!

I have a 2 year old pit bull and I mostly give him just dry food but some days he'll act like he doesn't want that and then just doesn't eat it. So what I do is I break a raw egg in it and mix it up in the dry food and he'll eat it. Try that if you want to, its good for the dogs if you are worried that it is not safe.

My mother has a picky eater and will go days without eating if it's not what she wants. She's a small terri-poo and cannot afford the weightloss. The pet store told her to try wetting her dry food (which is a good brand) and that worked. She doesn't soak it, just adds a little water and the dog gobbles it right up.
