Just about to throw away yesterdays grocery recipe, and I saw I have been charged for 6 x 2L of lemonade, that I'm sure I didn't buy, costing me 2 pounds 95!!
I'm a poor student, can I go back and ask for my money back? I have no proof I didn't buy it though I guess.

yes go in and speak to the manager. The chances are they wont want a big deal making of it and they will refund your money. It happened with me when i bought some tea bags the label on the shelf said 99p but when i got home i realised id been charged £2.49 so the next day i asked to speak to the manager and got a total refund.

go back and tell them that you didn't look at the recipe until you got home and realised the mistake. if you don't ask you don't get. this has happened to me loads of time before and have now learnt to look at the recipe as your walking out of the store it only takes you 2 mins and worth it.

Contact Sainsburys customer services. You might find them sympathetic but you're probably out of luck here. Theres something about walking out of the store and checking the goods you purchased I think...

Take the recipe back to the store and explain what happened to the store manager. Any good store will refund your money.

Your wording is strange "that I'm sure I didn't buy" - don't you know one way or the other if you purchased it or not? Instead of going back to the shop why don't you ring and explain over the phone? They will probably take you more seriously that way.
