Periodically, lose vision or upon occasion partial vision in left eye. I chew a large aspirin and within 10-15 min start getting relief. I have polycythemia vera and am on Pegasys and Hydroxyurea.

Yes, examination reveals engorged veins in retina, and they may hemorrhage or clot affecting vision.
