He will eat crackers, cookies cereal, and things like that. But I can't get him to eat any meat, fruit, or veggies. And the other day I tried feeding him pasta. He didn't even want to try it.

Yes, I eat in front of him everyday. I've even tried to share my food with him, but he just plays with it. He's hungry, but he won't eat it.

Patience and plenty of patience, he will change, well mine did, he is 21 months old now and intially he would not eat anything else apart from noodles. He is still picky but he eats other foods - pasta, cereals, oven chips and peas, baked beans and bread.
You can hide veggies in his favourite foods. Blend carrots, peas into pastes and add to his food. The key is to keep trying and yes you would end up throwing a lot of food in the bin (if he's anything like mine) but in the end he will come round.

it may take 10 - 12 tries of a clean nutrition until now your infant will advance a style for it. So save attempting. yet do no longer rigidity approximately it because it is in no way unusual for a touch one to be fussy approximately nutrition at this age. attempt mixing a small quantity of a clean nutrition right into a nutrition he already likes. case in point a tiny quantity of stewed pear into his wheat cereal or yoghurt. Then steadily upload a touch extra as he develops a style for it. additionally, from a nutritional attitude, the breast milk would be giving him a good base of all the fundamental supplements, minerals, proteins, fat and carbohydrates he desires. So he won't starve. isn't breast milk super? Hooray for boobies! My 2 12 months old nevertheless has a love-hate relationship with egg. So does his thirty 12 months old father for that count.

persevere. I'm sure it's a phase and he'll probably grow out of it. but be careful about saying things like "Tom doesn't eat spinach" or something, because he understands a lot more than you realise and will give him ideas. Just carry on trying and be patient! My daughter was the same and now she loves her veggies! She hated eggs and refused to touch them, so we changed their name to 'hen berries' and tried again, and she was more than happy to eat them! After a while we started calling them eggs again, and guess what? she wouldn't touch them! He he- go figure! Also, distraction is wonderful! point out a tree or bird outside, sound really excited, and then cunningly shove that spoon in while he's distracted! keep him distracted until it's gone down so he doesn't spit it out. it's a song and dance game, and yes, you feel like a fool half the time, but i promise you it works!:D distract distract distract! happy feeding!

Be patient. Have you seen any adult refusing to eat solid food? Eventually he will eat it. Keep offering it to him, preferably very soft and small pieces, without insisting or pushing him. If he is not ready, just wait and let him eat mashed food.

Try giving him a "special sauce" to dip in. If he's not allergic give him ketchup for chicken, or a little bit of ranch dressing for the veggies. Kids like to dip...it's worked for my nephews!

Maybe like take a small bite, and make funny faces, and say things like "yummmm!" or "uh huh" and get him to see that you eat that kind of stuff. He will probably become more interested.

Keep trying. Make sure he hasn't had his milk/formula first. You might have to continue to hand feed him the healthy stuff for a while while letting him feed himself the other stuff.
