You sorta answered your own question.
God didn't intentionally make it difficult to know him. Satan on the other hand did. He has brought in false doctrines and even false prophets to confuse people.
Acts 20:30 says that men will rise and speak twisted things to draw away the disciples after themselves.
The teaching of the trinity is one of them. Clearly you have already taken into account that Jesus himself said that he and his disciples were one also, and that's not to be taken literally, just as he says he and God are one.
1 John 4:1 states: "Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God, because many false prophets have gone forth into the world."
So gain knowledge from the Bible. Psalms 119:105 says that God's word is a light to your roadway!

I used to be a catholic and found the many rituals and empty doctrines, and hyposcisy just too much.
Thankfully I found Jehovahs Witnesses and studied the Bible with them.It is the best thing that ever happened to me.I now have accurate knowledge about God and a understanding of his holy word.
Your questions cannot be answered quickly on this site. There are issues that were raised in the garden of Eden.Believe me,Jehovah hates the injustices that are going on but he will be stepping in to sort things out soon.
Why dont you go to your local kingdom hall.Someone there would be more than happy to answer your questions and you could even have a free home bible study if you wished.
It really isnt difficult to find the true religon. But you do need to search for it and you will find it.

The mere fact that there are thousands of denominations highlight how confusing the bible is, and exactly how unclear God has made knowing him.
Some Christians say it is purposeful because God wants us to strive to know him. This is a bit of a cruel outlook, because the result of failure is hellfire, and some people aren't capable of understanding the confusing contradictions in the bible.
Some say that it isn't difficult, and all you have to do is truly seek him. That ignores the fact that there are many denominations, and that many atrocities have been done by honest people who thought they were doing the will of God. If God didn't want the Bosnian Christians to commit genocide on the Bosnian Muslims why didn't he stop it from happening. The same applies to Allah. Why does Allah allow people to fly planes into buildings while they scream Allah Akbar? Clearly he wants these things to happen, as God wanted the inquisition to happen right? Its that or they don't exist, or they just don't care, or they don't have enough power to stop it from happening? Any one of these reasons is very confusing, accept for one....... That is up to each of us to figure out.

Yes, you are so write there are many religion with many different teachings. Although that being the case the TrueGod can be found.
Lets start wiht the definition of Religion: A form of worship. It includes a s ystem of religious attitudes, beliefs, and practices; these may be personal, or they may be advocated by an organization. Usually religion involves beliefs in God or in a number of gods: r it treats humans, objects, desires, or forces as objects of worship. Much religion is base on human study of nature; there is also reveled religion. there is true religion and false.
Why are there so many religions?
A recent study tabulation concluded that tere are 1o main religions ans some 10,000 sects. Of these, some 6,000 exist in Africa, 1,200 in the Untied states, and hundreds in other lands.
Many factors have contributed to the development of new religious groups. Some have said that the various religions all represent different ways of presenting religious truth. But a comparison of their teachings and practices with the Bible indicates, rather that the diversity of religions is because people have become followers of men instead of listening to God. It is noteworthy that, to a large extent, teachings they hild in common, but that differ from the Bible, originated in ancient Babylon.
Who is the instigator of such religious confusion? The Bible indentifes Satan the Devil as "the god of this system of things." (2Cor.4:4) It warns us that " the things which the nations sacrifice they sacrfice to demons, and not to God." (1Cor. 10:20) How vitally important, then to make sure that we really are worshipping the true God, the Creator of heaven and earth, and that our worship is pleasing to him!
ARE ALL RELIGIONS ACCEPTABLE TO GOD?
IS IT TRUE THAT THERE IS GOOD IN ALL RELIGIONS?
In bold letters I have listed two question that you may want to ask in your question form. These two question will give you further asnwers in how to find the TRUE GOD. And to see that he is not hiding or nor is he diffcult find.

It is not difficult. What you listed is not all that important. Whether you practice Christianity as a Trinity or Singular, does not matter. It is your relationship with God that matters - not the specific form of belief behind it. People are so caught up in differences of opinion (among denominations and religions) that they fail to see that are on the same side (God's)...and having a relationship with God is what counts.
But if you interpret past teachings as only my way is right...they you argue and battle against anyone who does not agree and say they are going to hell or whatever. This happens among Christians of different denominations - when it is supposed to be the same God.
People are too focused on "particulars" that do not really matter.
FYI: I understand those passages differently. Jesus spoke on many levels - people like to interpret it as they want. The problem comes when they say their interpretation is the only correct one.

Let me first of all clarify at the outset that being a Muslim, I do not believe that Jesus is God or the Son of God (to dispel any wrong impressions about what I'm saying). Since the question is concerning God (and I believe in the existence of God) therefore I would like to add a few thoughts of my own.
First of all, the world that has been created is not the final destination of human beings. It is only a temporary shelter which will determine where we will end up based on our beliefs and actions here. Therefore, it is a sort of testing ground, an examination hall so to say, if all the answers to all questions were available in this place, what kind of effort would people make to find the truth? and what sort of test would that be? If the sole purpose of God was to make us believe that He exists then He could easily reveal Himself and remove all doubts. But He wants to see whether based on the evidence we see all around us and based on the information revealed through his prophets, do we still have the capacity to believe. He has built an internal compass in all of us, He wants to see whether we are able to use that compass as a guide or do we ignore it and fall in to base desires.
Secondly, the message regarding God has not changed much since the time of Adam. It has always been about the Unity of God and about the need to worship God. He sent various prophets from time to time to renew people's belief in God and to increase their knowledge. However, it was the people themselves who could not decipher the straight forward message and began to argue and confuse the central theme with abstractions and complications created by their own mind. People introduced new ideas and themes in to religion based on their whims and desires. Remember how the Israelites acted when Moses went up to the mountain for 40 days and created a golden calf for themselves and proclaimed it as God. Thus, all sorts of ideas were introduced in to religions by people and proclaimed to be part of the original religion.
Thirdly, why do such lies or ideas continue to exist? Why doesn't God eliminate them? Then again we can ask, why doesn't God eliminate all cruelty, violence, injustice from this world. Simply because this world is created imperfect. Such things are allowed to exist for only a given time and will be removed once the Day of Judgement is here and everybody will have to account for his actions. Before that time the current situation will continue to exist. Freedom of choice and freedom of action, free will as it is called, necesitates that all sorts of rights and wrongs exist together, otherwise its all God's doing.
Its not supposed to be easy, you have to earn the right to spend an eternity in bliss.

According to Joshua 1:8, God said we should meditate on his word day and night, through ssserious studying of God's word, i beleive you people will not find it dificult to know God. Why people find is difficult is because they are pursuing earhtly things and not heavenly things. The bible also say my people are destroyed for lack on knowledge. If you get yourself acquainted with God's word, there is no way any false teacher can come and deceive you. It such do not exist how can we differentiate between the true worshippers and people serving the devil. Since devil was thrown down (by wwantin to equate himself with God), he now believe that he can lead people astray.
God really exist if you are closer to him in fasting and prayer, he said he his word I will reveal the deep and secret things to them that believe in him.

We and the Father are also one.
WE are created in God's image.
WE are the "children" of GOD.
God, however, is miffed at the way we behave. Can you blame him!
Do YOU think for one minute MANKIND is really living the life as GOD would want it. Global warming, smog, wars, A Bombs, WMD, prisons, torcher.
Does all that sound like God!

because he is not real. I really can't understand how people belive in this stuff anymore. I don't under stand if god loves us and could do anything why there is so much crime and other things in this world. This is not blaming my problems on god its asking why he doesn't help people that we can't or don't. What father sits back and watches his children suffer. I will tell you a deadbeat father and if god is real I really don't want anything to do with him.

Man makes it hard not God. Man made religion and set the limitations. The Bible gets you to know God and to act according to his laws but to know God all you have to do is pray to him and start talking.
I want to remind people that the Bible is great its just that many people new God before it even existed. It is just a tool to draw us closer to him by learning how to be more like him and learning the history. You can go to heaven withoutever reading the Bible. God can reach you in the middle of a desert.
