If there is a youth service, ususally you would deliver the sermon. I know the big church here in town has a youth pastor and all the youth go to him and ask questions from time to time. Almost like an assistant pastor, just a little lower.

It's like being a sunday school teacher. It only takes being trusted by the powers that be.
You can be removed for simple things.
One Sunday school teacher I heard about got removed simply because she and her husband divorced.
That flaw made her unacceptable as a Sunday School teacher.
