I HAVE A CD WRITER & DVD READER, BUT I WANT A FREE SOFTWARE BY WHICH I CAN COPY MY DVD PC GAMES TO A CD.
(no trial softwares please)
PLEASE HELP

Games are copy protected. Even if you copy one, it will not play..... I have tried to back up my games, and none of the backups work.

There are programs free on the Internet that will take a large file and break it into smaller files, with an additional file. You could put these files on your CD, it probably will take more than one CD. Then you could copy the parts off of the several CD,s and put it back together inside the computers memory. One program to do this is called 'split' and is available from the Internet.

As a DVD holds 4700meg (4.7Gig) of information, and a CD only 700meg (0.7Gig), it is impossible to copy a DVD onto a CD. If the game were small enought to fit on a CD, they would not have shipped it on DVD.

OK.Altough it is illegal to do this,u can do just this:Use a EXE maker and in it devide the files into 700Mbs and thats all.then u have to Set it on 5 or 6 CDs.But it is not worth it .u can buy the CD version of every Game on the net.Or u have DVD player,so play them On ur DVD drive.No other possible ways.Any questions ,contact me!Thanks.Bye

dont know why people dont think its impossible to copy games but it would be impossible to put them on a cd

doubt your gonna find any free software but you could always bittorrent yourself a good version
