Ok whatever, u see show him ,or let him know some how and always.. that u r happy when is more romantic... i mean it depends again wht's ur definition of being romantic...

Romance comes from the desires to attract you. If he feels that you're never going to leave him or that you're ok with watching him play video games all day, then you'll never get him to be romantic. Go on dates where you can do fun activities and then spend time TALKING. That way you can find out how he really feels.

He is probably intimidated by you a bit. You have to let him know what you like and don't like and make sure that he know's you would like to have it happen to you. COMMUNICATION, is the key o.k.? don't let him slip on it :)
