What color highlights looks best on African American women?

Coppers, warm reds, auburn, and in some cases I think even purple looks good depends on the style.

Red highlights would look good, but also diffferent shades of brown. Ask your salon for the different shades of dark to light brown that they have and get highlights of different shades, it would look nice!

On thing definitly DO NOT go blonde. It looks horrible, espicially when it fades out! Try a brown or a red tone.

Well if you have dark brown hair I would suggest going with a shade a little bit lighter but not too light.

i had blond highlights once, not lots just about 3, but then i just when over it in brown,

but now i dont like it, i just want my hair to be jet black, cos i think jet black hair looks the best on medium brown girls, so imma just leave it,

dont put red, i think its horrible, and red is easier to fade.

If you wanted to be dramatic, go for blonde. For a more neutral, maybe deep (natural) red, or a lighter shade of brown than your hair.
You should probably go see your hairstylist and ask her for help.

i dont really know on you my friend did hers red blue and green and it looked good but she has dark colored skin you can try it and if you dont like it you can take them out
