My dog is an American Eskimo which because of the way things are she has to sleep outside in a cage with blankets just to keep her quiet. Is it okay for her to be outside doing cold days when it's 0-30F or hotter days when it's 80-100F? Her cage is always in shade so will it be ok?

On the cold days you need to keep a close watch on her to make sure her water doesn't freeze...there are special bowls you can buy to prevent that..plus change it out daily or more than once a day....they also sell these pads, powered by electricity where your dog can lay and keep warm.....again, you will need to pay close attention to the water bowl during the hot times....it's good there is shade...and of course, with any dog, (lives inside or out) you should walk it regularly for exercise and to help maintain good mental health. (i.e. behavior problems)

I think 0-30 F is too cold for her to be outside. Plus, either way you must not put her in a cage, but a dog house with some insulation. There are many available on the net and pet stores.

She is quiet outside but not inside. You need to elaborate. Many dogs do enjoy the cold weather. She may decide she wants to be inside in the summer and be a disturbance to the neighbors when it gets warmer.

One of my dogs will hear the AC kick on in the summer and sprawl over the top of it.

your dog will be ok outside till maybe -10 or -15 but much colder than that try bringing her in . as far as just a cage or kenel i assume your dog is not suited for it ! she is bred to run and pull right . you need to make a run for her. by this i mean a 1/4 thick cable suspended in the air for the lenght of your property if at all possible ! run a pulley along the cable hooked to her chain that way she may exersize when u arent able to exersize her.
