we met at a school party. he asked me out but i turned him down at first. he asked again and I gave him a chance. we went out 3 times but there was no chemistry at all. he is a really sweet guy so before the third date ended i wanted to try for a 4th date. i didn't know what coz i thought he was really interested in me he bought me a lot of things and nice dinner.

At the end of our 3rd date, i was trying to flirt with him. but he told me sorry he thinks we should only be friends and didn't want to lead me on. Now I feel like a loser! I should have told him that first and he beat me to it!

Now we are friends who have lunch and go to gym class together. I still feel sore and embarrased. He led me on!

But the fact that he continues to want to hang out with me does this mean he still thinks i am cool or is it because he feels bad for dropping me? He said he was very sorry and i think he thought I am sad that he dropped me

Sounds like he was very open and honest with you . ALSO, he still hangs out with you and includes you.

Sounds like you are too clingy and perhaps insecure.

Take a pill.

Well the thing is how could he of led you on when he was honest? You said yourself there was no chemistry. Maybe he felt like the connection was more on a friendship level and did not want to take the chance of losing that. He sounds like he is one of those guys that when he says we are better off as friends he means it and doens't just say it to get rid of you. You have no need to be embarassed and look at it this way.. The dating part may not of worked out but it was not a complete waste. You did make a friend out it. Just cherish his friendship and soon it will be like you never dated..

Why do you need to feel like a loser if you only intend to flirt with him in the first place? It's not that he calls off your wedding with him on your wedding day. He still hangs out with you because he treats you as his friend still and not because he feels bad about dropping you or you are being cool. It doesn't seem that you have a genuine interest in him...
men can still have feelings although they can't read maps... some men have 'sixth sense' ...

Sound like he is just trying to get to know you better. Maybe the chemistry will develope if you are just friends. I'm sure he thinks you are cool or he wouldn't want to be even friends. When most couples don't make it they hate each other so I think he must be a really great guy. Good Luck and God Bless

I would say he still likes you but he saw that there was no chemistry and thought you were just doing him a favor. Go on and hang with him if you enjoy his company maybe things will turn out fine at the end.

A gentleman. You dumped him the first time, and then he wanted to just show you that he understood, wanted to just be a friend but you did not get it.

Yeah he thinks you're a cool person to be around with, and still remembers the way you turned him DOWN.

You just said it yourself, there is no chemistry. Why are you sweating it, you guys are probably better off friends. Sounds like this is your first time getting dumped/rejected. And you are sad that he dropped you, get over it.

Try inducing him with some beautiful smiles and affectionate words. Boys believe me aren't hard to net at all! Just be with him when he needs help and desires you. It should work out. But I'm disappointed girls aren't like that! Best wishes***
