Haha Ha...
Outnumber!!! Are numbers all that matters to form a great state. Is pakistan a great state? Or is it bangladesh or Iraq or Iran? These are the states where almost all of the population is muslim. Gulf countries are far more progressed than these states, and that's just because they have opened doors for everyone out there.
And about numbers, a handful of Britishers ruled almost the whole world at a time.
Finally, why some you Muslims always think of over powering Hindus? It's just a dream baby. A fanatics dream. With those evil dreams of yours, even if your population is 10 times higher, you will never be able to succeed.
However, the idea of reunion is good, just don't induce religion over it. Reunite with a feeling of brotherhood, co-operation, feeling of oneness.
God bless you...
:-)

These divisions are man made. Even now many Bangladeshis are living in India. After partition , voluntarily people chose where to stay. There was a mass exodus , between all these created countries.
Now , the population has increased tremendously. Political ideologies had undergone an ocean change . People had become more selfish and narrow minded.
So that this dream of The Great Indian Subcontinent cannot become true.
India itself is breaking down into many more states. There is a recent thinking to break Pakistan to reduce terrorism . Bangladesh is a very politically volatile country.
If given a choice , both Pakistan and Bangladesh will not favour a merger with India , as they will lose their individuality.
Both the Pakistans(East and West), got separated because of language , even though they are having the same religion.
Similarly , there are so many independent , neighbouring Muslim countries , who had not bothered to unite!
However , what is the need to unite , when there may be more Muslims in India , than Pakistan and Bangladesh combined ? It is for each country to decide how we call ourselves and whom to give the minority status.

Muslims already outnumber Hindus [worldwide]. However, i don't think that this implies an Islamic future for India any more than it implies an Islamic future for Europe or America. It's not how many Muslims exist, but whether the local population will accept the religion.
The Indian republic is a well-established liberal democracy that will never accept Islamic rule; and India and Pakistan are no more cordial with each other today than they were in 1947, what with waving nuclear weapons at each other so recently.

I doubt your facts. The Indian government figures indicate that since independence in 1947, the Islamic population has been 11% to 12%. India is still a Hindu nation and there's no visible trend away from that.

The question is whether any country is on this earth following only one religion?
As far as Hindus are concerned the religion was existing long before in India >they have never tried to impose their views on any body also on their own people. The people enjoyed absolute freedom to follow the religion on thier own way to fulfill their needs for dharma in persuit of truth and God.
Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam means entire creation belongs to God. Therefore they have neither hated any other religion nor prohibited any body to follow any religion they liked. And if any body thiks that a region can be grouped based on the majority of a religion. It may be like grouping the region with
'haves' and 'havenots'

It seems like the trend is for countries to divide not reunite. Maybe a large part of northern India will want Independence in the future.

You know there is no such religion as Hinduism. There is only Sanatana Dharma - which mean "a way of life" - so it doesn't matter what religion one follows - "the way of life" is important -
The whole of Middle East follows one religion, then why are they not one nation? As some one asked why did Pakistan split into two in the first place?
I don't mind the 3 countries uniting - we will have a wonderful cricket team, a super hockey team.... all the beautiful ladies of Pakistan will be our sisters - the waters of Ganges will now belong to one nation... The ancient civilization of Harappa and Mohenjadaro will now belong to one nation....

the question itself does not have any facts that Muslims will out number Hindu .India if we consider at present is far more developed in every field if we compare it with Pakisthan or Bangladesh. There is really no point in this question that India will reunite with Bangladesh or Pakisthan.
