I guess if you are looking for a partner you can relate to, the best place to look isn't so much the internet. Especially if you are talking about someone who enjoyed the "hippie" era.
You'll find her in a place where you would find yourself going to, if you like getting stoned and listening to Hendrix music, then try going to an oldies music festival or something.
Finding another partner after 9 years is going to be pretty hard, so yeah, good luck.

PETA, church, environmental volunteers, you just have to look in the right places. I would think it would also be easier to find them in less urban areas, due to society's pressures for materialism. However, in the cities you may have more activitist groups that help others (like the homeless shelters, art galleries, communtiy colleges)

The hippies are all gone. They lived in the 1960's and 1970's and then grew up and supposedly got responsible.
