I think it's more a competition to see who can grab the most converts, through threats of hideous punishment or promise of reward.

They are in competition for the same god, The Jewish god is Yahem (not spelled correctly) he sent his Jewish son Jesus to save the world, however Yahem & Jesus are one in the same, but Jesus came with a new deal for living different than the Jews. But when he said I came to fulfill the law not abolish it, means you are bound to Jewish religious law, but for the gentile they can only enter the kingdom through Jesus and the Jewish are the chosen so they are in by default and not bound to the NT.
In the NT Jesus didn't mention anything about giving 10% so that law still applies and he said turn the other cheek appose to an eye for an eye, so the new law is turn the other cheek.
Yahem & Jesus are the same god but one pertains to the Jewish and the other to the gentiles, but not presented that way and for the reason, not to confuse the Jewish and the gentiles at the time it was created, however this practice is still in effect today. Truly the only way Christianity can be a truly creditable religion is if it would condemn Jewdism and merge as one, because Christianity is the voice of the Jewish as far as religion is concerned, I know Christians will never accept this and it's only because they are afraid god will condemn them and not allow them to the kingdom. Jesus & the Jewish God are one in the same and should be followed as such and as long as the christians accept the Jewish religion and its pratice the christians will just be the second hand to the Jew, even when the king himself changed the law and the Jewish did not accept the changes, for they are no longer accept into the kingdom by default because changed the law. The bible is law pure and simple, it's just that people refuse to accept that. Hope my answer help you more than confused you.

I believe that it is not or should not be a competition.
So long as one believes that there is a superior being (God) then you will get to understand that it is one God that we serve, and who is the creator of all, you will, in faith, serve him with all your soul, mind and self.
The key thing here is that one should not belittle another's belief or religion but instead concentrate in building a personal relationship between them and the Almighty God.
The stronger and closer your relationship with God, will others be able to see His work through your actions in your day to day life and want to emulate you or serve the God you serve.
An example can be found the Bible in the Book of Daniel.

In truth, a religion was founded or established to study the existence of God, the teachings of God, to believe God, to obey the law of God, to love God and everything which are Godly. It is believe that we religous people have the same God to respect and to love but the worse thing is that some religions named God as Yahwee, Allah,Jehovah, and other many names given by the founder of such religious organization.Pastors, evangelist, preachers of the bible has different interpretation and understanding on the bible itself. Some just look at it on the lateral meaning but for those who have analize very well the words of God in the bible have better understanding than the others.

True God is in heaven watching over us here on earth. He is a living God and not like the God of others which are made of stone, wood, plastic, gold and many other material thing. they do not exactly follow the teachings on the bible. Some religions are only interested on the contribution of their members like the 10% of income from its member is now prohibited in the New Testament by Jesus Christ. What is allowed is the voluntary coming from your own heart. Any amount.

Good Question...No!Religion is a competition between the true God and Satan...All religions that do not serve Christ Jesus in spirit and in truth are lead by Satan without them knowing.Satan is the greatest illusionist in the world...he uses what cannot be seen with physical eyes to deceive...

2Cor 4:3 For if the gospel we preach is hidden, it is hidden only from those who are being lost.

2Cor 4:4 They do not believe, because their minds have been kept in the dark by the evil god(Satan) of this world. He keeps them from seeing the light shining on them, the light that comes from the Good News about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.

Hug!

It is not about which god is superior but which is the true God. If we want to worship and follow a God we must make sure that He is the only true and living God. If we are seriously seeking then we should learn all about the God we are seeking and experience the reality of a living relationship with Him. For myself from the claims and the promises in the Bible and the spiritual experiences, wisdom, power and blessings I have received from God I know my God is the only true and living God. We must not allow anyone to force us to believe but we willingly believe when we know from all that we exposed ourselves to that God is real.

religion is founded by our ancestors only to lead humans in path of good. if you examine all the available holy books you can see that only peace and humanity is described in them. to make people follow these instructions GOD is mentioned in every book
but now a days people misunderstood this, making their own principles and making others to do so
if every holy book has comparatively same message there is no question of GOD s superiority
there is only one GOD . our ancestors named them differently in their books differently
if you want to follow a GOD worship only one by being very good to others and helping the needy people, because all books says GOD loves those who heartily helps the needy people

Religion is somewhat competetive. People believe their religion is the best and might try to convert others.

I think God knew people like choices so he gave us all choices. As for forcing people to believe in something they don't want to it's pointless, people will choose to believe what they want.

Well...since fascism is a conservative ideal, I would say that your on the right track.

Look back through history and see what party turned to fascism most frequently. I can guarantee you that you won't find it to be a liberal practice.
