I think this is one of the biggest problems about being super-rich. Even with loads of money people would like to have a
good relationship with someone, often they are very lonely despite their wealth. When someone comes along and gives all the appearence of being just what they are looking for, just like us they fall for it hook, line and sinker. It isn`t till later they find out what a mistake they have made and unlike us they have to pay dearly for it.......Yes I do feel sorry for them.
They never know if they are attractive for themselves or for their money.........They gold-diggers are worse than prostitutes
at least with them you know you have to pay for their attention up front.

People who are sucked in by a gold digger are not always blind fools and idiots as you imply.
Many are somewhat naive, perhaps not having had many relationships or just not being very good at sizing other people up and seeing beyond their surface impressions.
In some cases the gold-digger is extremely attractive and very good sexually and has the person in such a fog of hormone they cannot see straight until it is too late, this is a standard trick of the con man/con woman, often done more as a tease than a real delivery.
It is also important to keep in mind that people who are gold-diggers are essentially professional con artists who work very hard at keeping their agenda secret and that even people who are very good and practiced at seeing through deception can and will be deceived by someone, somewhere, some time.
Now if they are just marrying a trophy spouse then they deserve what they get. Turning romance into a trade contract is bad for everyone.

Gold-digger is a broad brush and it's only a single dimension. If the other person recognizes that characteristic and takes steps to keep it from becoming an issue, he's not so dumb after all.
Of course, a marriage based on trading one thing to get another can be a disadvantage for the gold-digger as well. If what they have to trade is depreciating, there's the risk that he will dump her when he wants to trade up.

A gold digger is not bad after all. If I want you because I know with you, I would find gold. Tell me what is wrong with it?
It's because you are golden that attracted me to you and if anybody accuses me of being a gold digger that's not bad because you are the gold.
Or, do you prefer to be a bronze or brass for that matter? It is a good thing for people to see something good in us. So, this gold digger thing is all about perspectives.

I suppose so, but sometimes first impressions aren't always what they seem. You could end up marrying a gold digger and not realise it until it's too late.

Some "gold-diggers" are use to being deceitful. They take advantage of people who haven't experienced intimate relationships with beautiful women. They really do believe it's true love.
If a man is rich and smart he will make his wife sign a pre-nuptial agreement, where in case of divorce, the amount of money the wife gets is limited.

They say if you marry for money you earn every cent and I believe that to be true. Usually the person with the money usually has an overly inflated ego and doesnt want to admit that perhaps that be true. Most men/or women inside them have a suspicion that may be true but usually want to keep the show piece that they found that being said again for men or women trophies..so they both get what they deserve.

u re so stupid. what's wrong with falling in love with a gold digger? she will be grateful to her man for providing her with life style she wants, she will value him, she will never cheat cos she values him too much and she will respect him for what he achieved in life. and what about non gold diggers? she would treat her man as a s'h'i't' cos why the heck would she be grateful to him? if she can get everything by herself? but i bet u don't need to worry about gold diggers. they surelly wouldnt' be attracted to u - there is nothing to dig
