just go up to her, and first say to her, in these words "look ......., we are really good friends, and whatever i'm about to say next shouldn't affect our friendship' then she will say yes, then say to her that i like you more then a friend, then say how you feel about her, and explain to her in detail, then say i love you, and ask her how she feels about you...
if she agrees then congrats, if not then just remind her that whatever happened today shouldn't affect our friendship...
then you know what to do..
hope it works out well
good luck

You cannot just not tell her. Anyway, even if she is in love with you, she might just not dare saying because of the difficulty of the distance and not telling her may just lead her to give up on you. On the otherhand, she might be embarrased to find out you're in love with her if she can only see you as a good friend. Telling her directly face to face is better (from experience) because half of human communication is body language, so there is always a risk of misinterpretation with the telephone (or even worse text). What you need is a good introduction. Remind her of your friendship and ask her if she would be ok if you told her something that might embarass her, or something like that. Just remember that women are afraid of stalkers, that's all, so make it clear you won't be one.

Take up your courage and tell her that you love her even if you are unsure if she loves you...confessing your love for her is unlikely to ruin your friendship with her if it's done in a beautiful way...she's only 18, probably she has a whole load of things playing on her mind...it's always good to find out what her goals in life are before telling her that you love her coz it's pretty important to ensure both of you are heading towards the same destiny in life...I'd encourage you to ask her out in person...it's more meaningful that way and it shows your sincerity...yes, you may want to make an appointment with her first for a date on her coming school holidays...if she's interested in you, she'll go out with you

If you think That she doesn't Love you i think you should wait till the next time you see her in person and just tell her this "Hey uhh Look what I am about to say is huge but i really don't want to ruin our friendship so please just be totally honest with me, do you love me as much as i do you?" And just carry it on from there! GOOD LUCK!

Text her. That should make it seem very casual. I think I'd be dating her through the summer before declaring my undying love. You really don' t know her very well, do you? When it's time to say it, you will know it w/o a doubt. If you have to ask, that means you are not totally comfortable so it's not time. Good Luck and God Bless

You can do it either way but do tell her otherwise you will regret not telling her for the rest of your life. For you to know how she feels about you you will need to let her know about your feelings. Just suggest to her if you could try being in a relationship and see where it takes you, don't be too deep and end up pushing her away.
Good Luck!

the best way is in person. depending on how well she is connected with you she will understand your feellings for her. here is a good hint to watch for to see if she thinks you'r e the cat's meow. wait till you guys are driving around town or somewhere local or long trip or whatever and if she constantly keeps watching you drive and looking at you and smilling all the while then you know she really digs you. do not mention this hint to her it might blow it. girls dont like to be over analysed.

wait until you are together again, keep things as they are with texts and e-mails, but wait, once you are together again it will be way easier to pick up the vibes, if she is thinking along the same lines as you she too will be looking, and waiting, you will get a feel of how it is, it sounds promising, and worth waiting for, Good luck to you, Enjoy!

Don't tell her.
If she doesn't know that you are interested and you blurt out that you love her, she will run a mile and you will never see or hear from her again. Let her know that you are interested and try and develop a relationship but for the love of god, don't tell her you're inlove with her or she will freak out.
