Or they wanted a girl so much they never thought of a boy's name.
Or your father was confused when he registered you because he thought you were a girl. Perhaps you were switched as a baby - with a girl who's name today is 'Robert'.
At any rate, no. It's a girl's name, 100% girlie, everybody you give your name to will raise their eyebrows or think you're joking.
If I were you I'd seriously change it - maybe not officially, but in daily life - absolutely!
Try Marianne. Or Sheila (grin).

I think it's a pretty cool name... A conversation starter at least. I personally like the name Ashley for a guy too.
