All tropical forests are not rain forests. Tropical rain forests are forests which are tall trees and sometimes may reach 50 meters from the ground, they are also broad leaf forests which grows densly with different species. Unlike that of Coniferous forest which are the same species. Why I say that all tropical forests are not rain forests, some species may grow outside the equatorial region if the amount of temperature and rain fall is similar specially moderate high land area, with similar talness and broad leaves.

I work in the Ecuadorian jungle 12 years. Hot ,humid and uncomfortable. 100 in. per year, very muddy and streams and rivers every where . Y clear a road to a oil well location and a month later y cant get through. The farmers clear land for forest and in 3 years the top soil is moved on and the farmers move on and in a year the jungle is already taking it back. I have fence post for a wire fence the post sprouted and grew into trees. Man is in danger in the jungle if the animals don't get u the fungus will.
