Well... You have to be relaxed! No need to think the work, no stress and you will get the peaceful sleep. If still can't sleep, try vanilla or lavender aromatherapy. That's the best way to make a good sleep.

Do not exercise for at least 2 or more hours before bed. It can keep you awake otherwise. No caffeine in the evening (coffee, tea, cola). If you want to drink something warm, either warm milk, or herbal tea that has chamomille in it. Be prepared tho---if you have something with chamomille in it-please be home and ready for bed when you drink it-for me it worked within 20-30 min. I had to drive home very carefully after I drank a cup a few years back. If these things don't help, try laying in bed, stretch good, then close your eyes, and in your mind, starting with your feet, tell your body muscles to relax, starting with your feet, your legs, your torso, arms, hands, shoulders, neck, and finally your head. That usually works for me when I need the extra help to relax for sleep. If you have a lot of things on your mind, when you get into bed, "place" those "things" on the nightstand, or on the floor, somewhere, and leave them there for you to think about tomorrow, not tonight. If you have some lavendar scent room spray or something like that, to spray in your bedroom before getting into bed, that may help too. A warm bath, maybe reading for a little bit before lights out? What helps you feel sleepy? I wish you the best. Take care.

First Relax for sometime, before you are going to sleep. Then don't think about what happened from morning to till now. Just you forgot all the things what happened before and go to sleep with prayer.
You just sit on bed calmly for 5 minutes and then sleep. You will get good sleep.

Clean linens, a sound machine like ocean waves, lavender scents to spray your bed pillows that has soothing effects. There is a line of hand lotions that help you get a good night sleep with chamomile in it. Also a cup of chamomile tea, an hour before bedtime plud a good book or prayer/meditation will relax the mind so you can sleep.

Make sure you are getting enough Iron. Try taking some Iron suppliments. The effect can be amazing in some cases.
Otherwise ensure that you go to bed at the same time every night & try reading before you go to sleep.

the best thing is to de-stress yourself and find a pleasantly warm and comfortable place to sleep, other things to help you sleep are ... relaxing music, a new place to sleep , warm milk with honey , don't do work in bed, find a girl/ boy friend or just talk over your day to day life with a good friend, family member, or mental theripist. if all else fails call you doctor!
