Last summer I made friends with this girl. We worked together and had a really great relationship. I am 21 and am at college. She is 18 and at a boarding school at the other end of the country, and so I only get to see her during her school holidays. However I am still in touch with her by text messages and emails. At New Year she invited me to her party and we had a great time, and it was then I realised I was in love with her. The only thing is I am not sure if she loves me or not, and I want to tell her I love her, but don't want to ruin our friendship, what should I do? Also how shoud I ask her out, should I wait till her next school holiday and ask her in person, or should I do it by text or email?

Well, don't scare her off by using the L word. I would ask her if she was interested in moving your relationship to the next level. When you ask this then the ball is in her court. Don't push her, but tell her that she means a great deal to you and your life is awesome with her in it...Good luck.

Stop obsessing and just tell her.
A ship in port is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.
Read that about 50 times, and grow from it. Seriously.
To ask her out, call her.
And you might ruin the friendship.
Seems like you are gonna be just that, friends, unless you take positive action.
If she says no, move on. She still might be your friend.
If not, no loss, a million women out there, just waiting for an aggressive, charming , persistent male.

I think asking in person is always best. Texts and emails are too impersonal.
Ask her how she feels about you and if she has any feelings for you. If she does or you think she might then tell her how you feel.
Either way, what's the worst that can happen? She will gently let you down and you can be good friends anyway.

I think you should definitey tell her incase she feels the same way but is too shy to tell you. If she doesn't feel the same way, you should let her know that you don't want to ruin the friendship between you too and i am sure she will understand. you should definitely ask her out and don't wait till her school holday because by that time she might be going out with someone else. you should ask her out via phonecall.

I suggest you tell her how u feel abt her, bcause if u dont it will break u inside. Tell her her by text msgs that u wanna take her out so that she can prepare and have an idea that u love her.

tell her, if she doesnt like you back well then she knows that you care a lot about her and it will make your friendship stronger, and if she likes you well then you guys can go out
