I'm flying to NYC today for St Patrick's Day. I want to be well prepared for the cold parade tomorrow and want to bring my flask along. Does anyone know if you are allowed to bring an empty flask on to a plane, or will the confiscate it?

Thanks!!

If it is empty, you will have no problems.

As im approximately to fly out myself, i checked out the tsa website and it pronounced. "you would be able to take as much as 5 liters of alcohol with alcohol content fabric between 24% and 70% in step with guy or woman as checked bags if it’s packaged in a sealable bottle or flask." cant take it interior the keep on yet you are able to fairly take it

Yep. Hell, even if stuff is in it, you have a chance of sneaking it through (I've seen some not so great screeners). But if it's empty, no problem.
