Yes mate, it makes me gag, normally only in the morning and not in the evening, but now you have asked this question I have realised that I have not thrown up from brushing my teeth for a few weeks. Unfortunately I can not think what has stopped this other then using that mouthwash with the two parts (shake to wake)or is that orangina)) sorry I could not be off more help, but I did speak to my dentist about it once and he recommended a electric tooth brush and gentle movements at the back teeth.

Very much so. In fact I can actually throw-up if I hear someone gagging even if it is on the television.
My dentist calls it an 'acute gag reflex' and I have a terrible time at the dentists as you can imagine. Sorry to tell you but it doesn't get any better as you get older. You just remember not to eat too much before a visit to the dentist. Good luck.

Well the thought of brushing my teeth gags me period. I hate sticking the same tooth brush in my mouth twice, anyway yeah I do gag every now and again. You are not alone!

nearly always - i tried it once with water and the same thing
sometimes i am sick - same a dentist i have to be sedated
cos the water thing does it - also i can't chew gum sweets
or toffee as they have the same effect - i thought i was the
only one as never met anyone else - i don't mind the
taste of toothpaste - its just the brush towards the back
of my mouth uuuuuuugh - am 53 and been like it since a kid

No. I do gag when I brush my tongue with a brush though. For those of you whom this happens to: a tongue scraper does the job much better and doesn't make me gag.

yeah mate. I already asked this question few months ago. lots of people agreed,

things that made it better were
1) waiting till you been awake a bit longer before brushing
2) eating or drinking 1st before brushing
