I think the people living in jail are bad and had been convicted for doing bad things.

The ones that are leaving the jail, deserve a 2nd chance since they paid their price for doing something bad, however they need to be watched. That is what parole is for.

That's like asking what is the best food in the world. Come on, you have to provide more depth to you question. A better way to phrase this could be: Do you believe a person that robbed a store for the first time, learned his/her lesson by going to jail? Even that question was too vauge, to further specify, I would have to provide the age, sex, reasons for doing it, situational detail, ect.
There are thousands of possibilites of why people were in jail, perhaps they did it, perhaps they were framed, perhaps they were racially discriminated against, perhaps it was a crime of passion, perhaps...
Restructure you question so that you get intelligent answers that can be proved over people's personal opinions. Opinions are so abundent and are irrelavent.
If you're asking another question, such as Are jail systems set up so that reintegration into the main social current is as best as possible, the answer is no.
As for, did people learn their lessons, ask them, not other people not in jail.

Humans are not bad by birth, the circumstances push them......Jail is the place where they repent, and a punishment for the happened ...so thereafter they lead a good life......reforms should be brought in jail policies....so that there would be changes in the prisoners attitudes, once they complete the imprisonment...all the best.

Question unclear. Do u mean living in the jail or leaving the jail ? Anycase, every individual is basically good. Its the situation that urges him/her to take that extreme step. So you should always try to rise above the situation , maintain your cool and always take the right step.

Sounds philosophical, doesnt it ? ;)

Some are really bad and some are good and innocent who could not engage an advocate to defend and falsify the false charges in the concocted flimsy prosecution foisted by police.
