For the past 2 months, ive been feeling constantly tired. My eyes feel sore and i think ive been suffering from poor quality sleep. I've had my eyes tested, bought new glasses, done more exercise, been to to doctor, tried sleeping tablets (didnt work). It doesnt seem to be insomnia because i do get some sleep, but when i wake up it feels like i havent slept at all.

This feeling is really starting to get me down now, and the doctors dont seem to be able to help - any suggestions?

Can buy over the counter eye drops that are affective. Try one for allergies and one saline solution for dry eyes. Buy a big box fan and set it near your bed. Turn it on high, have your room dark and fairly cool temp. A lot of times the "white noise" of the fan will lull you to sleep. Get some exercise out of doors to help you get tired. Take a nice warm shower or bath, put on some comfy p.j.'s or whatever you wear for bed. Sit and have some quiet time reading or listen to music to relax you. I sleep with a fan all year round and have for years. Otherwise I was constantly waking up with every little noise.

Oh I know how you feel I have not slept in years. I am lucky if I get anymore than 4 hours sleep a week. It is an affliction I have just had to learn to deal with.

Try natural remedies - Lavender is supposed to aid a restful night's sleep. Try altering your diet - more fresh fruit and veg, etc. if your intaking alot of caffiene, through wither tea or coffee, it could affect your sleep too. Or it could be a sleeping disorder - they do exist! Don't despair, your not alone on this. I had a similar problem myself, and i completley overhauled my diet and excercise regime, which helped alot. Good luck!

Have you had any blood work done? I have insommnia and I take Temazepam-30mg, it works for me. Are you stressed out about something? Try drinking a cup of natural herb tea befoe you go to bed.
