after two years. i can deal with that, its being dumped through a text message thats the worst bit.

Let me first apologies for my gender and give you my sympathy, and go on to say that if he has not got the bottle to talk to you in person, then you are probably better off with out him.
2 Years and he thinks that is is okay to treat you like this, you deserve better and he has done you a favour, now get out there and find a real man who will respect you!

You poor poor thing. I'm in exactly the same boat at the moment and it's really dreadful isn't it? There are so many things people say to try and make you feel better "he's not worth it"/"plenty more fish.." etc and it doesn't help because you know all that. You need to take some time for yourself and chill out. If he wasn't man enough to see you in person, then not only is he clearly a really crappy person but also he doesn't think much of you. I knwo hearing that hurts but in the long run, do your eally want to waste more time and energy on someone who thinks that you deserve to be dumped by a text after spending two years together? I am sorry this has happene to you. It is horrible and there is nothing I can say to take away the pain. Just keep your chin up and find something else to focus on. Get rid of all the things that remind him of you and remember how great you are-and if he doesn't see that then clearly he was never worth it in the first place.x

Dumping is hard to take!!! I watched the man I was with squirm when he was asked to bring what I though was his ex to a friend's house and he agreed. He walked by me like I wasn't standing there. The next week he showed up with her in church and she didn't have a clue about me.
I wrote her a letter. The buzzard had the nerve to call me and ask why I did it. About two weeks later, he married her. It wasn't long and she left him. Hmmmm............ I guess he learned what a broken heart is about.
I cried for months and still hurt for a couple of years.
I finally realized that if this man could pull off cheating on us for almost a year and could break off like that, he was NOT the man I thought he was and I was better off without him.
Now I've got the sweetest husband in the whole wide world. Every woman ought to have a guy like him!!! (That is according to her own personality.)

You wasted two years of your life being with a mutt, but be grateful that it was only two years. It could have been worse, you know that. The guy you thought was sweet and a darling, actually, was the kind to dump a girl through an SMS! If I knew who he was, I'd warn my friends for sure.
And, darls, being dumped through a text message is nothing compared to having to hear the same words said aloud before your friends/strangers. It happened to someone I know, and no, it wasn't funny one bit.

After 2 years by text message? It sounds like you were with a cad, and you deserve better. One thing about modern technology is that it provides an excellent excuse for behaving badly ... perhaps your ex did you a favour by dumping you this way, now you know what (s)he's really like - (s)he's someone who likes a quick and easy way out. Nice. You're well rid of this person!

What a C.U.N.T ive been dumped by txt it hurts :( 2 years thats so harsh to do that to sumone...do wot i dun when my ex txted me to say he liked my bestfriend instead and it was over i just txted bk goin o well ur loss! he was soon begging for me to forgive him lol i never did he still trys to contact me now after 4 years very sad! ur worth more than him glam ur self up tonight n go on the town with ur girlies and get leggless!! *BIG HUGSS*

Being dumped via text has to be the most pathetic cowardly way to do it. I would say good riddance to bad rubbish if he didn't have the guts to tell you face to face, you are better off without him!! pick yourself up, dust yourself down and get out there and have fun. Enjoy being single and one day Mr Right, who will be worthy of you, will show up when you least expect it.

Ah poor you. Being dumped by Text is pretty thoughtless. Maybe your better on your own.
