I'm hoping you aren't asking this so you can try out a new diet! :) I have always heard that eating celery actually burns more calories than ingested because it is very low-cal to begin with and supposedly it takes a lot of energy for your body to break it down and digest it. Not sure if it's true, but sounds good!

I heard the same thing about celery. It burns more calories to eat it! Ha. Try putting some peanut butter or cream cheese on them.

apple- a medium sized apple has about 110 calories but take into account that it's a hunger supressant... it would abate your hunger, while still providing some energy... there are a lot of foods that are low in calories but you'd feel weak soon after since the lack of calories won't provide you with much energy

Everything in overconsumption will cause weight gain, but I do believe broccolli are extremely low calorie. Some people believe in 'negative calorie' foods and broccolli is one of them.

well, have you heard of "negative calories?" it's like it takes you more energy to eat it so you burn instead of gain calories. things like apples, celery and brocolli have negative calories.
