I don't believe in afterlifes that are defined by religions because they are more often than not plagurised from previous world religions.
The idea of a paradise after death is not unique to Judeo-Christian/Islamic religion. It's an idea that is prevalent in most religions but obviously the specifics are inconsistent.
The same goes with Hell, the world alone is taken from the Norse mythological underworld and its ruler, Hel. The idea of an underworld is not unique either, or original.

I do believe in heaven, but don't believe in hell as in the sense it is a forever damning place. I believe in purgitory(sorry for spelling) as in a place where the sinful or people unable to forgive themselves are sent for a stretch of time to be redemmed. Hell was expressed for a long time as having no personal relationship with God, no spirital connection, not an actuall plane of exisitance. Almost all major religions have this good place/bad place struggle for human souls.

You wont know how many people do, as billions of people are not paying any attention to your question.
However, I'll play along ...
Not in the slightest. False promises offering reward versus punishment coupled with fear - the biggest confidence trick played upon an unspecting and under-educated population some few years back and STILL conning the feeble-minded.

We believe in Paradise and Hell. Paradise is the abode of enjoyment which God, the Exalted, prepared for the righteous. The blessing they enjoy there, no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard of, and no human being has ever imagined: "No soul knows what comfort is kept hidden for them, as a reward for that which they used to do." (32:17) Hell is the abode of punishment which God has prepared for the unbelievers and the evildoers. The torture and horror in it cannot be imagined

Thinking of heaven or hell does not give any succour to our hearts and minds.
Thinking of God does. So lets be concerned with Him only.

No I don't believe in anything or anyone that is absolute good or evil. Good and evil are a matter of perspective and not the same for everyone.

No. Heaven and hell are fictitious. Religions use concepts like this to manipulate people by offering rewards and threats. It is the old "good cop, bad cop" technique. Don't fall for it.
