(Raising my hand). Unfortunately, when 16 got there, there wasn't anyone that I WANTED to date. Thank goodness the crop was better at 17 (although not very much better).

Hell I did not want to date before 16. The guys at 17 wherent that great by choice I waited til I was 18.
And I'll be honest I dont think kids should date before the age of 16 they need to focus on schoolwork. When I turned 16 I had just graduated from HS and was going on to college. So my first year of college I'll admit at that young age was scary and boys wanted just one thing..And that was in the 80s I cant imagine the pressure on young girls now.
