u dont have neither bulimia or anorexia.
but i saw a girl on tv who has the same condition as u. i dont think it is recognized as a real condition yet but she called it 'chewing and spitting' and yes she and probably u do have an eating disorder, it is just not recognized yet. im not diagnosing u with one because i dont even no u i am just giving my personal opinion from the information i've been given. i would go to a doctor.
to sharkgirl - anyone could say that is the same as bulimia. or anorexia for that matter. someona could say that they are aware of what they're doing and they know there are risks involved, and they do, but it is not a choice they make. eating disorders are soully a condition and not a habit or decision.

Anorexics limit their food intake starving their bodies bulimics may eat normally or even gorge themselves but throw up afterwards (Binge and Purge).
The purpose, in both cases, is to limit their food intake to lose or maintain low body weight. Eventually the effect on their bodies by starving themselves in an effort to loose weight or to remain at a low weight may cause serious health problems.
Anorexics have a distorted image of themselves and tend to see themselves as "overweight" when looking in the mirror they might see themselves as fat while other people will see them as they truly are -dangerously underweight. Anorexics also might see themselves as seizing control of their lives by restricting what they eat which may further confound efforts by friends and family to alter the anorexics behavior.
Bulimics tend to develop poor dental health. Over time the stomach acids tend to dissolve the tooth enamel, causing the teeth to rot. Bulimics also tend to have circulation problems especially with heart muscles. Imagine dying of a heart attack from throwing up regularly. This is a learned behavior for the person who is bulimic -it becomes a habit, a regular routine and like a bad habit difficult for that person to stop.
I am not a doctor. This is my opinion. I think you're a pseudo bulimic. You're actually an anorexic. You need to stop doing this. See a nutritionist they can set up a sensible diet for you instead.

I don't know if that's really considered either. I think it would be considered closer to anorexia nervosa, because with that, you don't eat very much/at all, and you said you're spitting out the food before it even has a chance to get to your stomach to get even the tiniest bits of nutrients. But what's really the point of just chewing the food? I'm sure you don't feel satisfied after the meal like bulemics do (before they purge), and since you're not actually swallowing the food, why not just NOT eat? (well i mean you should eat, both are very stupid conditions, but if you're just chewing, why bother?)

Anorexics starve themselves. Bulimics eat food and then vomit.
If you're not actually ingesting the food, then that is considered Anorexic. However, just because you starve yourself does NOT mean you are Anorexic. The actual diagnosis of a person deemed Anorexic is one who loses at least 1/3 of their body weight.

you are a bit overweight since you bmi is 26, i agree with swimnlaura if you don't even swallow the food don't even waste them cos somebody else who might enjoy the food can make use of them, get some help of you will die because your stomach will end up digesting itself and that might cause serious damage to it in the future

You have serious body image issues and some kind of eating disorder. Lose weight while being healthy. Go get some counseling as well.

Neither. To be anorexic your bmi has to be less than 17.5. And bulimic you have to binge then purge.

To me it just sounds like you need to wake up to yourself. You have some sort of eating disorder, but one which obviously you can control. You are aware of what you are doing, and know the risks involved, so why are you doing it?

I would say you're anorexic because you never swallow the food.
