Contact the Red Rose Pekingese club, they will know of responsible breeders. Hope you have discussed this with your Mum, she may not be ready for another dog yet.

Have a look at the Kennel Club website which lists breeders, by breed, and by region, who currently have puppies available. The register is restricted to breeders who have registered not more than four litters whelped over the preceding 12 months (unless the breeder is an Accredited Breeder).
Accredited Breeders are also listed and they provide an ssurance that the breeder has undertaken to follow basic good practice as laid out by the scheme. Kennel Club Accredited Breeders are flagged as KCAB and will always appear at the top of the list of breeders with puppies for sale.
If you are not able to find what you are looking for, or there are no breeders currently listed, then you should contact the Breed Club. The Breed Club secretary can provide you not only with expert advice on the particular breed of interest, but put you in touch with other breeders who may be able to help you with your search. Breed Club contact details can be found when you search the Puppy Sales Register.
