No .. as long as as your writing is legible. You may not score good marks for a good hand writing but a bad writing definitely irritates any one and will have an indirect effect on your marks.
Obviously, no one wants to waste his time trying to understand what you have written.

offcource yes.u shud write neat and clean(i.e. easily readable).IT SHUD NOT BE BAD .OR IN OTHER WORDS YOR WRITING SHUD BE IN A VERY UNDESTOODABLE FORM.tHE CHECKER SHUD BE ABLE TO KNOW WOT HAV U WRITTEN IN VERY 1ST SIGHT.
ALWAYS KEEP IN MIND THAT IF U PUT THE CHECHER IN TROUBLE WHILE CHECKING AND UNDERSTANDING DAAT WOT HAV U WRITTEN DEN HE/SHE WILL ALSO PUT U IN TROBLE IN GETTIN GOOD MARKS.

yes honey if ur writing is bad they get irritated and dont even give individual time to each paper.write clearly and with margins,imp points underlined.
