Ministers preach God's holy word to us,
claiming perfection is impossible.

Next, they demand you be perfect because God commands it in Mathew "Be ye perfect, even as your father in heaven is also" etc.

God will never ask you to do a thing that you can't do, will he?
Course not! Horrors!

Since it is universally agreed that no-one can be perfect no matter how hard they try, I guess we still need to pin the blame on them?

Let's blame humans for things they cannot help!
Fantastic idea!

I feel better already, knowing helpless civilians such as U or I will be roasted alive for things we can't possibly have control over.

Soooo, if we can't help it, who can?
God! That's who! Do you really blame me when I had no control over the creationary process?

I admit to doing wrong, but only because I cannot help it due my human nature, given me by... God. (Boo! Watch out! X-tians may try to scare you into believing being born imperfect is YOUR fault!).

Stop thinking! It's dangerous? Oops!

Unfortunately for the whole shooting match, it's still the blame game. Whether you want to blame god, human nature or the guy next to you. You are trying to lay blame outside the framework of your own mind. Each man is trapped in their own hell until they seek a higher position. You can do nothing with the life you are given until you are capable of turning 180 degrees to look at where you come from. Once you do that, you hopefully see the errors in your ways. I'm not gonna tell you what they are because they are not my errors. Until they spill over into my bubble they aren't my problem.

The blame for my actions lie squarely on my shoulders. The situation and the coincidental attitudes of those around are not my fault nor will they ever be. But my Reaction to these stimuli is still my fault. You can say that you didn't know before. But you know better now. and that is all the difference. Most people use blame as a way of saying "It's OK to continue down this path. It wasn't my fault what happened." No it may not be your fault but how you reacted and continue to react is.

Suck it up and take some ownership people.

Nobody goes to Hell for not believing in an idea which some think is absolute Truth !!

Our own deeds (free from any religion and based on pure humanity) decide our future

karma must be respected

Perfection is the goal. In other words, progression is eternal, in this world and the world to come. Heaven is not a static place, but simply the next stage in our eternal spiritual progression towards God.

It was not God's will in Eden.
It was Eve's free will that started this mess.

Btw.....we cannot live apart from Christ, because with the belief in CHRIST CRUCIFIED AND RESURRECTED for us, comes the indwelling Holy Spirit. The HS is the ONE who enables us to live according to GOD's standards.

Are you THAT unaware that GOD knows we are not perfect?

I think you make a good point

i dont follow religion and i dont care about the afterlife(if there is one)

i focus on now and tomorrow not tomorrow and after i die
if you always loom to the future you will slowely waste the Present

Just take your time and think about what your doing

we are not all go to hell maybe some but not all.it is not true that we cannot control ourselves coz we can,God gave us free will but not to use for the vices of the flesh. He also gave us the Holy spirit to remind us of the good things and to help us on our weakness.sins are forgivable if we did it unintentionally.hope u r enlightened with this.

Speak on yourself, cause I plan on going to Heaven. The road to the Lord is straight and narrow. You can control everything that you do ,so don't go around saying the devil made you do it ,you did it because it felt good.

You're right about one thing -- you should stop thinking too much. You're going to hell in any case and there's nothing you can do about it so you may as well quit whining about it.

What if we don't go to hell? Have you thought of that? If you did, you'd have saved yourself a lot of confusion and 5 good points.
