There are no gods. It's just extreme arrogance and ego on our part to suppose that the rest of the universe has to have a reason to exist that is related to our existence. We're really not that important.

have you ever noticed how in Genesis God spends 5 days out of the 6 'working days' fiddling with the planet earth, creating water, land, plants, animals, and man and briefly takes a pause on day for to create EVERY FRIGGING PLANET AND STAR IN THE UNIVERSE?

I think there's life on other planets. I'm not talking little green men who ride around in UFO's. But there's life on Earth because we had the sun, and moon, in just there right places, with good tempature, and good climate. Surely if the universe does go on forever, there must be other planets with the sun and moon in just the right places, with good tempature, and good climate. To think otherwise would be a bit ignorant.

God is infinite and therefore, likes to indulge in infinite universe. If we are trying to estimate Him, sitting on this earth planet, within the parameters that we have created or perceived, we are attempting only to boggle our minds.
And if we know why we will know God.
