Some guys are attracted to shy girls. I'm pretty shy myself. I'm only talkative around people that I know. Don't worry about being shy. Eventually, the right guy will notice you (even with your shyness ) and sweep you off your feet.

Not really I am kinda shy until I really get to know someone and I seem to be rather found of demure women. Just be yourself and realize you may have to make the first move if he is really shy.

No it isn't strictly true. Shy guys can be attracted to any type of girl. It depends on the guy.
If you want to get close to him, you could always try talking. That won't make you look desperate.

Well, we know sometimes opposite attracts each other 'cause there are something that can be complementary. But not all the time, even though you are a good talker , sometimes you also want a feedback from that listener. So, all the time moderation works.
