Tolerated with a healthy mix of humor and rage. It depends on my mood.

I like the Pascal's Wager game, but what I've always tried to do is to be devastatingly honest. I think of it as an exercise, but it's also often an effective way to cope.
It's also worth keeping in mind that essentially all of the ignorance and hatred coming from the theists reflects a lack of faith on their part - a direct betrayal of their own side. If they had faith, of course, they wouldn't need to argue that they have evidence or proof, but of course if they believed on the basis of faith they wouldn't have any basis for attacking us. It's clear that they'd rather attack than have faith - which means they've completely abandoned the core principle of religious belief. Religion is vast, and strongly followed, but it's a rotten shell with no solid foundation.
Since coming here I've really come to realize how little the religious know about religion, as well. A few months ago I'd have said it to be spiteful, but it has become clear that it's true: atheists know far more about religion than do theists.
After all of that, though, my favorite thing is to just have fun with them.

I would accept the label of deist, and I generally don't bother myself with the real fervent stuff. I think it's interesting, because I've closed the door on the politics section of Answers where things get really nasty and ignorant. Somehow, things felt more personal there, but here, I have my beliefs, I don't force them on anybody, and I just walk on by those "train wreck" postings that are intended to insult more than "save."

We're all human; I try to approach the forum with humour and a light touch.
Of course, there are some days when nothing but the Pascal's Wager Drinking Game will do.
Speaking of which - Latino Lifestyl, here's to you and your post. Cheers!

the concept that atheists have of the universe getting into existence from no longer something the concept that each and every thing is with regards to a minimum of one ordinary ancestor whilst the Cambrian explosion proves in any different case the concept that ethical values are finally subjunctive and nonbinding whilst all and sundry knows purpose morals are authentic. as an occasion homicide is incorrect. Atheists say they have not have been given any faith whilst they actually do. they believe that there are various universes to describe how ours is so nice tuned yet basically a accident. they believe that existence spontaneously arose from count number. they believe that the concepts emerged from count number or is basically count number. actuality is you like extra faith to be an atheist than a Christian. Atheists have faith they have not have been given any faith yet they do. they believe that there are different nice tuned planets obtainable to describe the creation of earth. they believe that existence spontaneously arose from count number. they believe that the concepts can emerge from count number or that the concepts is basically count number.

Tolerance, Compassion, Humor all Atheists traits as well. Back just a little while ago, Christians were so cruelly attacking Atheist it prompted me to respond:
Are Christians on a Holy War?
Don't think too unkindly of them though...if you were taught to believe that other human beings were going to burn and suffer horribly by the very god of love that you were raised on...somewhere inside, if you are normal human being, you'd have to begin to disassociate yourself and begin to dehumanize others, in order to continue believing in that kind of god...a god that will do the same to you, if only you disagree. I think it's sad. They 'Jesus-Jihad" only because they feel they must.
Have compassion for them. They suffer so.
-----------
You know M. Gandhi said "The only thing wrong with Christianity is Christians". Did He have it half right? Well he loved peace and was tactful. Won him a nomination but no prize.

People aren't stupid they're just trying to make it through life. It's not easy. I'm not religious myself but I know that religion helps a lot of people so I try to understand that.
