yeah, live for yourself and not for everyone else. never be selfish or greedy. be kind, but not too kind. people like to take advantage of you when you give to much. only give as much as your willing to receive.
and never do something that you don't want to do just to please someone else.
live life with the lessons learned, and learn the lesson's life gives ya.
help others, be generous be independent on only yourself.

1) Laugh exercise : Laugh heartedly for 5 minutes every day. I do it while I take a shower. Be an actress. Imagine someone old you a joke and you are laughing your lungs out.
2) Keep things that brings you good memories around you. Photos of happy times. Presents from last birthday and so on. Throw away or hide things that trigger bad memories.
3) Go for a run. Run until your are out of breath. Oxygen that pump into your brain during the exercise make you laugh more easily.
4) St John Wort is a herb that is suppose to bring happiness. Never try. It is good for the depressed.

Happiness is a mental state. I know people who live in poverty in other countries and are very happy people. So definetly is not in the material possesions. Sometimes I get happy by just of my memories of the past. Live a positive life, be healthy and make new friends :)

G'day! I find getting a good workout each day really works. I'm not much of an exercise person but I have been doing daily workouts first thing in the morning (45 mins) since august last year and it really lifts your spirits for the day ahead. I have 2 toddlers and it definately helps! Also, I look after me first these days. UNHAPPY ME = UNHAPPY FAMILY!

Always do what you think is right for you and people around you. Don't hurt anyone directly or indirectly.
But, happiness is something which means different people. So find your strengths and take it high.

Who cares what others think. Be your own person. Make yourself laugh by doing something without thinking of what others will think of you. Be spotanious and make anything you do fun.
Also, you can watch America's Funniest Videos. That always does the trick for me. Funny Funny Funny.
