The ppl see the police as being corrupt and against them...

That is because we are lawless in our attitude.

We do not have patience for law to follow it's course. And some political parties have taken upon themselves the moral policing job.

So where actually is the need for the police?

I do not know if Kiran Bedi can give a better answer than this!

Policemen are perceived as abusive and when they are beaten up or robbed off, people are happy for "having a dose of their own medicine".

Because of their murdering innocents in police lockups and claiming it a firing in self defence in an encounter, foisting false cases, lawlessness, bribery and corruption.

it is only due to sadisam,.ignorance,revenge as the police prsonnel could not develope good relations and understandig in public as they never act impartially and render justice when they approach them.
