Hello! I'm at a loose end tomorrow and want to enjoy the weather and take a nice walk on a beach. But I don't know any nice beaches round here.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Im from Portsmouth (bout 10mins by train or 20mins by car down the road) The beaches here are ok - not all sandy and that but its a good length to walk and take in the views. You can also get the hovercraft across to the Isle of Wight. The beach there is lovely but its not very big, or once you're here you could get the harbour boat across to Hayling Island - the beaches there are BEAUTIFUL!! Full of sand dunes and miles of walking distance to cover...

From what I remember all of Southampton is very stoney.

Could also go the other direction and walk round Chichester harbour somewhere. Not brilliant for sandy beaches but very picturesque.
