Research is conflicting on this one. Some scientists say that the human brain stops growing at age18, others say that it stops growing at age 20-21. It doesn't really matter when it stops "growing" which really just means that it has reached a maximum volume (approx. 3lbs.). What really matters (in terms of ability to learn knew info./skills as well as repair slight damage) is the ability to generate new neurons as well as form new synaptic connections which continues throughout your entire life!
The maximum size of the human brain is about 3lbs., which is slightly larger in males relative to females even controlling for body size. But again, it is not the size that counts!

The human brain never stops growing. They say that you stop growing brain cells by the age of 2, But in actual fact you can grow brain cells right now!

Just by learning new things, doing puzzles, Exercising, your brain can grow bigger. You could even try taking Omega 3 tablets (fish oil) you can pick up a bottle from your local supermarket.
