he ws being a jurk.... if you make them cry then your acting on a pridefull stance... that is your so right about something you will chrush anyone who dares question you... and you loose...even if your right...
at that point when they cry... the damage is done... so appologize, let them know you didn't realize who strongly they felt and appologize one more time and give her a bit of room and ask for her forgiveness.
this isn't about cowering down.. it's about open and honest communication.. not tearing downs others feelings, dreams ambitions or control...
Maturity is a great thing too muster up about this time and that is too know when a person has pushed too much and learn from that mistake... and possibly send her a simple flower and card the next day....

I remember when my girl and I had a fit over me smoking. I did smoke a lot and it bugged her. We got into a heated argument. I said things I never should have to her. I had my back turned and I was grinding the living **** out of my cig on the ground and I heard a whimper. I knew right then and there I went to far with what I had said. I regretted it right off. She had hunched herself over a little bit and was shaking into the wall. She is sensitive about being yelled at and it does scare her sometimes. I walked back to her and gently put my hands on her arms and spoke gently to her trying to coax her to look at me. She's afraid to let me see her cry. Her ex was abusive towards her and it really made her very skittish. I'd kill the bastard if I ever found him. I should have known better to yell at her. I apologized immediately telling her I was wrong to yell. I finally got her to look at me and stroked her cheek and shushed her. She started crying. I made sure to give her small reassurances and just shh her when she'd cry harder. I hated to see her cry. I pulled her to me and get her burrow her face into my shoulder and let her cry. I told her it's okay. Don't be scared. Don't be afraid to cry. I held her tight and rocked back and forth. I promised I would work on quitting smoking. I avoided smoking around her while I was trying to quit. She's still with me today. I can admit when I'm an asshole. I can also accept it and comfort my baby girl when she needs it. That guy you mentioned should have immediately soothed her.

Depends on why she is crying. If she did something wrong or started a fight then it's her fault and I don't think a guy should do anything. Now if the guy yelled at her or maybe she had a bad day or something had her sad then I would suggest he hold her and kiss away her tears.

when there is an argument between bf. and gf. girls usually starts to cry if she can't prove her point of vow or if she discovers that she was wrong but she doesn't want to admit that , any way I usually hold my gf. give her a kiss , try to calm her down and then we continue our argument reasonably .

If I were a guy, I'd hold her tight, tell her I love her with all my heart, & let her cry all she wants in my arms... Well, or that's what I wish my ex could've done whenever he made me cry

No, u should act. you should embrace her, maybe kiss her, and apologize to her, and tell her she is right. A good lover, wait for a chance like this, to wipe the tears off his gf's cheeks or maybe he kiss/licks the tears away.
