to be honest, this practice is beyound me. there is nothing wrong with praying at sunrise. and they (muslims) have always practiced it (since the 14th century) coz they had to wakeup and start their days anyway, No! (hence, no 9 to 5 jobs)
i truly think that such activity in our modern age can cause health risks by interrupting sleep patterns and all. why not pray in the morning! what do you think?

my point is that its with in the norms to wake up at dawn like all animals. so dawn prayer (fagr prayer) was not that difficult or inconvenient since everybody had to wake up anyways!

As a Baha'i I've forgotten consistenly to pray at noon every day. Since I live in the USA we have the daylight savings time... so am I really praying at noon?

I can't imagine praying before dawn.. Once you're up, you can't just fall back to sleep. And if you could, would it be sincere or just a "going through the motions" type thing? o.0

Salah has been prescribed at FIXED TIMES, and anyone who purposely goes to bed the night before without making the intention to wake up before sunrise and pray fajr is commiting a major sin. As for myself, praying fajr and going back to bed everyday actually makes me feel more awake than if i happen to accidently miss it one day

Many Muslims wake, pray and return to sleep. Many others opt to make that prayer up when they wake at a later time. It is acceptable to miss prayers as long as you do them later.

I could if it was what God wanted me to do, but being a born again Christian, this is not a requirement. We pray anytime we feel the need. But to answer your question, no I would not want to be woke up every morning that early to say repetitious prayers that I can stay in bed and say.

it will not hurt sleeping habits. itll actualy help sleeping habits since humans naturally should wake up at sunrise like all the other animals (excluding the nocturnals). and if one believed so much in something then it would be easy to do. just set the alarm for sunrise. sunrises are beautiful.

No way, I would never do that. Religion is a cruel mechanism for social control and stratification.

Praying is only helpful for yourself and own well being. Studies have shown there's no "power of prayer" in recovery time, etc. of hospital patients.

People of muslim faith are so oppressed its so wonder they are hostile!

Islam has made its followers automatons. This is just one more fact that shows how the motive behind the religion is to subdue creativity and progression.
